What is the meaning of infectious lesions in both lungs?

Infectious lesions in both lungs generally suggest inflammation of the right and left lungs. Most commonly bacterial inflammation, but also inflammation caused by viruses or other pathogens, infectious lesions often present as patchy shadows in both lungs. After systemic treatment, if the lesions are not effectively absorbed, or if the patient has fever, cough, and symptoms of dyspnea, are not relieved. It is important to consider whether the direction of infection is yet to be refined, or if it is not an infectious lesion but a pneumonia-type lung cancer, lymphoma, or infection by a rare pathogen. Further hospitalization is required for pulmonary puncture, bronchoscopy, etc.
