Wisdom teeth usually hurt for a few days

There is no fixed standard for how many days a wisdom tooth will be painful, but after active treatment, the painful symptoms can usually be eliminated in about 3-5 days. When pain occurs after growing wisdom teeth, it is mostly considered to be wisdom tooth pericoronitis, with red and swollen gums, jaw pain, and circumferential discomfort as its main manifestation features. Some patients with acute onset may also have secondary symptoms such as fever and dizziness, and if not actively treated, the symptoms usually cannot be relieved on their own, and even after relief may recur. Therefore, when the above symptoms appear, it is recommended that it is best to actively treat them with oral medication or local medication, and generally the pain symptoms can be relieved within a short period of time after correct medication, and can be completely eliminated in about 3-5 days. For patients with poor treatment and recurring symptoms of pain, you can also consider the complete removal of the treatment to achieve the purpose of eradication. In conclusion, when wisdom tooth pain occurs, it is recommended to seek timely medical attention and active treatment, to prevent delayed treatment, resulting in aggravation of the condition and increased pain.
