What is the pain in the right back of the head?

In terms of pain on the right side of the back of the head, it is important to distinguish whether there are other causative factors, whether there are other clinical symptoms, the specific nature of the pain and the time of pain onset, and to combine with imaging examinations, so as to clarify the relevant clinical diagnosis. If the pain is accompanied by trauma, including bruises on the forehead or falls on the back of the head, it may be caused by cerebral contusion, subdural hematoma, or epidural hematoma, which should be taken seriously. If the pain is accompanied by loss of vision and visual field loss, within a short period of time, we must be alert to the possibility of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage, usually mainly occipital hemorrhage, which must be clearly diagnosed and promptly treated. If this happens for a long time, the possibility of occipital lobe tumor cannot be ruled out, so CT or even nuclear magnetic examination of the head is needed at this time. Therefore, in terms of pain in the right back of the head, there are many causative factors that cannot be generalized, and it must be combined with clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and imaging tests to confirm the diagnosis.
