Is it normal to have brown discharge during pregnancy?

Brown discharge in early pregnancy is usually an abnormal phenomenon because of preterm miscarriage caused by low progesterone. Pre-eclampsia is a condition in which a small amount of vaginal bleeding and lower abdominal pain occurs before the 28th week of pregnancy, and the uterus is not yet opened, the membranes are not yet broken, and the pregnancy is not yet expelled. The clinical manifestations of early pre-eclampsia are early pregnancy reaction after menopause, followed by a small amount of vaginal bleeding, which may be bright red, pink or dark brown in color depending on the amount of bleeding and the time it accumulates in the vagina. In case of brown discharge, it is recommended that pregnant women should go to the obstetrics and gynecology department of the hospital for progesterone and HCG tests in order to avoid delaying the treatment. During the treatment period, sexual intercourse should be prohibited, cold food should be avoided, and regular life should be carried out to avoid staying up late and overworking.
