According to the literature, the mortality and disability rate of intracranial aneurysm rupture and bleeding are more than 30%, and the second bleeding is more than 60%; 2, the occupying effect of aneurysm – compression of cranial nerve; 3, there can be thrombus formation in the cavity of aneurysm, and the thrombus can be washed out of the aneurysm by blood flow and cause cerebral infarction. At present, scholars at home and abroad have reached a consensus on the principle of treatment for intracranial aneurysm: regardless of its rupture or not, treatment is advocated to prevent its rupture and bleeding. This is of course to be done after meticulous examination and evaluation. Can surgery be done? What is the success rate? Will it leave sequelae? What is the cost? The most accurate way to diagnose and evaluate aneurysms is currently DSA (digital subtraction angiography). In addition, it should be noted that intracranial aneurysm is a benign disease and can be cured (not a tumor as people call it).
