Does pregnancy cause stomach pains?

Pregnancy may cause stomach pains, most of which are a normal pregnancy phenomenon, while a few cases are caused by disease factors and should not be generalized. Most women experience mild abdominal pain of unknown origin when they are pregnant. In early pregnancy, most abdominal pain occurs due to the beginning of the enlargement of the uterus and the enlargement of the abdomen, which leads to the pulling of the ligaments around the uterus. In middle and late pregnancy, as the abdomen grows and squeezes the surrounding organs, it can cause discomfort symptoms in pregnant women, such as constipation and diarrhea. In addition, the baby has fetal movement in the abdomen, which can also make some pregnant women feel the phenomenon of abdominal pain, which usually will be relieved on its own after rest. However, if the abdominal pain is prolonged for 2 days or even longer and accompanied by bleeding, it may be an abnormal condition such as pre-miscarriage. If you have abdominal pain during pregnancy, you do not need to be too nervous and worried, you should pay more attention to observation, eat a balanced diet, strengthen nutrition, and pay attention to regular maternity checks.
