What are the causes of thinning hair on the top of women’s heads?

Thinning hair on the top of the head in adult women is most commonly associated with androgenic baldness, which manifests itself mainly as a gradual reduction and thinning of hair on the top of the head, or in some women as diffuse thinning of hair, but the common feature is that the hairline is generally not receding.
The cause is related to genetics, high androgen levels and excessive androgen receptor activity. Also, inflammation around the hair follicle, stressful life, tension and anxiety, and poor lifestyle and dietary habits may be factors that trigger or exacerbate the condition.
