What is the prognosis for degenerative knee disease?

The earlier the degenerative knee joint is treated, the better the outcome. The prognosis varies from person to person: 1. If the symptoms are mild, a good prognosis can be achieved through rehabilitation training; 2. If the symptoms are severe, the prognosis is relatively good through rehabilitation training and medication to reduce the patient’s symptoms such as swelling, pain and limited activity; 3. If the symptoms are very severe and deformity has occurred, the prognosis is relatively good through surgery such as synovial debridement and knee replacement.
