Dizziness and trance are mainly considered for the following reasons: Firstly, the patient’s lack of sleep should be taken into account. Many people actually experience a decrease in brain function activity after an all-nighter, staying up late, or a long period of sleep deprivation or low sleep quality. Patients are prone to dizziness, drowsiness, and trance in daily life, and patients who do not sleep well for a long time are also prone to cerebral vascular spasms, and are more likely to experience severe dizziness; secondly, dizziness and trance may also be a manifestation of some mental illnesses, such as major depression or acute mania, or acute alcohol withdrawal in alcohol-dependent patients. In the case of acute alcohol withdrawal, dizziness and trance symptoms may occur.
