Where do craniosynostosis usually occur?

Craniosynostosis can usually occur at the occipital, frontoparietal-temporal, nasal root and cervical vertebrae, with the occipital and nasal root being the most common.
So when an infant presents with a cystic bulge at the skull, a round or oval cystic bulging mass at the cervical spine, or a flattened mass at the nasal root, the possibility of craniosynostosis needs to be considered and prompt medical attention is required.
