Vertigo Medicine – Diagnosis (III)

SRM-IV Automatic Vestibular Function Diagnostic and Treatment System is a device for the diagnosis and treatment of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. In view of the high incidence of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, all patients with vertigo can be examined with this device as a primary screening test. 6.How does the SRM-IV Automatic Vestibular Function Diagnostic and Treatment System perform the examination and what are its advantages? Are there any contraindications? The doctor will operate the chair to simulate manual turning and rotation in accordance with the position change test method, so as to change the patient to a specific position to induce nystagmus and reset. Obviously, this treatment system is more accurate than the manipulation induced test and reset operation, and can achieve the 360 degree roll reset that is not possible on the examination bed, which is more ideal for people who are obese, suffer from cervical spondylosis, and have poor body coordination. Certain contraindications to this examination should be guarded against: for example, heart disease patients, pregnant women are cautious to carry out this examination. 7.Who needs a vestibular function test?
