Soft tissue cysts include sebaceous cysts, dermatomal or epidermis-like cysts, thyroglossal duct cysts, gill slit cysts, mucous gland cysts, and sublingual gland cysts.
Jaw cysts of which jaw cysts are subdivided into odontogenic cysts and non-odontogenic cysts.
Odontogenic cysts: including periapical cysts, primordial cysts, and tooth-containing cysts.
Non-dental cysts: including bulbous maxillary cysts, nasopalatine cysts, and median cysts.
