What is the difference between an open eye and an open eye?

Many patients often struggle with the question of whether or not to open the corners of their eyes in the clinic, so let’s look at a set of before and after comparison photos of double eyelid surgery without opening the corners of the eyes and then a set of before and after comparison photos of double eyelid surgery with opening the corners of the eyes. This is what we often call a fan-shaped eyelid. In the second set of photos, the patient has a heavy inner canthus and has had both an eyelid opening and blepharoplasty, with the lid starting at the inner corner of the eye, which means a flat fan effect or a parallel effect, as well as an increase in the horizontal length of the eye. Many patients are concerned about scarring at the corners of the eyes after blepharoplasty, but in fact, the scarring is very inconspicuous after a good recovery. Of course, everyone has different aesthetics, some patients like scalloped eyelids, some like parallel large outer pairs, if you like scalloped eyelids, on the basis of not opening the corners of the eyes, the doctor can make a scalloped effect. If you don’t like scalloped eyelids and your inner canthus is very severe, it is best to follow your doctor’s advice and open the corners of your eyes moderately. But whatever the shape of the eyelid, it is best to have a natural and beautiful look that suits you.
