Key points for rehabilitation of artificial hip arthroplasty 1. Prevent dislocation, keep the operated limb in an abducted neutral position with a large pillow separating the two legs. Do not do internal rotation. If you have hip stiffness and flexion deformity before surgery, or if you have a loose joint capsule during surgery, cooperate with lower limb skin traction for 2-3 weeks after surgery. 2.Postoperatively, use antibiotics to prevent infection. 3.Postoperative subcutaneous injection of low-molecular heparin or oral rivaroxaban and other drugs to prevent thrombosis. 4.Physical methods to prevent thrombosis: plantar venous pump of lower limb, intermittent inflatable venous pump of lower limb, active muscle stretching and contraction exercises of operated limb, active movement of ankle joint. 5.Bone cement type can get out of bed early to practice standing and walking, and biological type can get out of bed after 3 weeks with double crutches. 6.Avoid hip flexion over 90°. Squat, sit on a low stool or chair. Use the toilet. No cross-legged, no stretched legs. 7.When going up and down stairs, keep the affected limb close to the handrail side. The patient can hold the handrail with one hand and crutches with one hand. When going upstairs, the patient should step on the healthy limb first, and then let the affected limb follow. When going downstairs, the order of steps is exactly the opposite. 8.Patients should put common items in places where they can easily get them, to prevent squatting or tiptoeing when picking up items. 9.Review at your primary surgeon’s clinic every three months after surgery, take X-rays and check blood during the review. 10.Take antimicrobial in time for infectious diseases, and inform your dentist when you encounter operations such as tooth extraction, and suggest oral antibiotics. 11, pay attention to blood sugar, blood pressure control up to standard. 12, elderly people are recommended to hold a cane for life, cane on the healthy side; prevent falls. 13.Older patients should also take long-term calcium supplements, vitamin D3, and even use bisphosphonates to treat and prevent osteoporosis. 14, avoid running, jumping, lifting heavy objects; avoid moving objects class energy-consuming activities.
