Baby fever 38.5 degrees overnight will be burnt

A baby with a fever of 38.5 degrees, if no other symptoms appear, burning overnight usually has no serious consequences. However, it is best to give your child timely cooling treatment to prevent it from turning into a high fever and endangering your health. Most fevers in babies are triggered by upper respiratory tract infections, pneumonia, bacterial infections, viral infections, etc. If the child is in good spirits, he or she can be cooled down physically, such as by using warm water to wipe the armpits locally, and not covering the child too thickly when sleeping, so as not to affect the child’s sweat discharge. However, if the physical cooling effect is not satisfactory, or if there are other abnormal manifestations, such as poor spirits or restlessness, reduced milk intake or refusal of milk, etc., you should use antipyretic drugs under the guidance of a doctor. Babies with fever need to drink more water and choose light, easy-to-digest food as much as possible. When the temperature does not subside, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to avoid delaying the condition.
