The most common diseases of dizziness and vertigo are treated as follows: 1. Otoliths, i.e. benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, otolith repositioning is the most effective treatment during the onset of the disease, and it is currently believed that repositioning or self-healing patients with pharmacotherapy can play a role in preventing recurrence. 2.Vestibular migraine, diet and lifestyle adjustment can improve the symptoms of most patients with vestibular migraine, and medication can prevent recurrence during the interval, and medication can control and improve the symptoms during the acute period. 3.Ménière’s disease, low salt diet and life style adjustment, oral treatment with medication can control vertigo attacks, and for patients with poor symptom control, stepwise treatment of Ménière’s disease can be performed, namely hormonal tympanic injection, chemical vagotomy, endolymphatic sac decompression, vestibular neurectomy, and complete destruction of the inner ear. 4. Vestibular neuritis (vestibular neuronitis), early antiviral, hormonal and vasodilator treatment, and vestibular rehabilitation during the recovery period.
