Leukaemia is a group of malignant neoplastic disorders of the haematopoietic system, which results in a massive proliferation of leukaemia cells that inhibit normal haematopoietic function, causing a marked reduction in platelets and affecting blood clotting, leading to frequent nosebleeds.
