How to distinguish between contractions and stomach pain

Contractions, also known as uterine contractions, are one of the causes of pain in a woman’s small stomach. Tummy pain is a result of multiple causes. There is no differentiation between contractions and stomach pain. Uterine contractions are generally paroxysmal and intermittent, and the symptoms of lower abdominal pain caused by uterine contractions are generally paroxysmal, with abdominal pain symptoms appearing and disappearing suddenly. The symptoms of abdominal pain caused by uterine contractions usually occur during pregnancy, after childbirth, after miscarriage or during a woman’s menstrual period. Other causes of lower abdominal pain are not necessarily related to pregnancy, menstruation, postpartum, or post-abortion, and are often accompanied by other clinical symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, frequent urination, and urinary urgency.
