Red, swollen and itchy skin around the eyes is an inflammatory reaction caused by skin allergies around the eyes. The skin around the eyes is relatively thin compared to the rest of the body, with a thickness of about 0.5mm, and is relatively sensitive, so if the skin comes into contact with some allergy-prone substances, such as eye creams, eye masks and other skin care products, it may cause an allergic reaction if it comes into contact again.
