Ringworm treatment should not be used indiscriminately

Ringworm is a common skin disease that is caused by fungal infections during the spring and summer seasons. It is more likely to occur in humid climates, when patients sweat a lot, and when they are obese. Tinea corporis is the most common clinical condition, including ringworm, tinea cruris, and tinea pedis. Tinea corporis occurs in the groin, perineum, and perianal area. It often attacks in the spring and summer and subsides in the winter, with significant itching symptoms. Tinea pedis is also known as athlete’s foot. It can be divided into blistering and scaly keratosis types, and is most common on the toes, soles and sides of the feet.
