Too much exercise musculoskeletal injury

Tibiofibular fatigue osteochondritis, also known as stress injury, is a skeletal muscle injury caused by overuse of bones and muscles (i.e., over-exercise), or irregular movements, which can develop into a fatigue fracture (also known as a stress fracture) at a late stage with serious consequences. Yao Ming, the famous basketball star, had three stress fractures and finally had to announce his retirement in July 2011, leaving his beloved basketball career prematurely. Although the general public does not play or train as much as professional athletes, there are many people who love sports or are addicted to sports, and it is not uncommon for stress injuries to occur. For people who play sports regularly, it is important to understand and grasp the knowledge of tibiofibular fatigue periostitis and to take timely scientific precautions. This kind of injury mostly occurs in the foot weight-bearing sports, such as long-distance running, playing basketball, playing tennis, playing soccer and other sports, the reason for the occurrence of most of the training action is not standardized, too much exercise, sports ground is too hard, sports time is too long, etc.. The calf muscles are under tension for a long time, repeatedly pulling the tibiofibular periosteum of the calf, and after a long time or sudden excessive force, it is easy to cause periosteal tears, subperiosteal bleeding, etc. If you do not change the training method in time, reduce the amount of exercise, or complete rest, it can finally develop into a fatigue fracture. Exercise must follow the scientific training method, step by step, master the action, correct the wrong action. After exercise, give the calf a self-massage and hot bath to relax the muscles and eliminate fatigue. Properly control the amount of exercise, avoid long periods of excessive concentration of running and jumping, etc. Do not do running and jumping sports in too hard ground, wear professional sports shoes and sports socks. Only by doing so can help reduce the impact of sports on joint muscles and prevent the occurrence of stress injuries.
