Hand keratosis is a palmoplantar keratosis and is treated by moisturising and softening the keratin, mainly with urea ointment and vitamin A cream. If the keratin layer is thicker, salicylic acid cream can be used to soften the keratin before the above medication is administered. Avoid contact with irritating substances during treatment to avoid aggravation of symptoms.
