These “uterine fibroids” is very dangerous

  Uterine fibroids are essentially benign and have a low likelihood of malignancy (about 0.47%). In fact, many women have undiagnosed fibroids that coexist with the tumor without affecting their health. Therefore, the discovery of fibroids in most cases is not a cause for concern. However, there are always surprises in everything and treatment should be considered if the following occur: Excessive diameter or size A single fibroid is more than 5 cm in diameter or the total uterine volume exceeds the size of the pregnant uterus by 2 to 3 months.  Symptoms due to location Although the fibroids are not large, they may cause symptoms due to their location, such as fibroids in the lower part of the uterus and cervix (cervical fibroids), which cause frequent urination, urgency or difficulty in urination; fibroids pressing on the rectum, which cause constipation or diarrhea; fibroids in the uterine cavity (submucosal fibroids), which cause excessive menstruation or even anemia.  Suspected of causing miscarriage or infertility Multiple miscarriages or infertility, with fibroids suspected as the main cause.  There are signs that suggest fibroids are malignant. After menopause, the pre-existing fibroids increase in size instead of shrinking; the fibroids suddenly and rapidly increase in size in the recent past; ultrasound examination suggests that the fibroids are rich in blood flow, etc.  Doctor’s tip: Uterine fibroids should be treated rationally.
