Teaching you about allergies

Inhaled allergens cause allergic rhinitis, often with sneezing and nasal congestion, and also tend to cause nasal infections. Daily drops under the tongue for two to three years will relieve the allergy caused by inhaled allergens. The patient’s original daily allergic reactions of sneezing, itchy skin or oddly itchy eyes are greatly reduced. The latest research in recent years has been this immunotherapy method of sublingual drops.
Prior to this immunotherapy method, allergens with very weak components were injected. This immunotherapy method is suitable for both men and women, and is especially worth trying for patients with severe allergy symptoms. After 6 or 9 months of receiving this very convenient treatment method, the discomfort caused by allergic reactions will be significantly improved. However, to ensure that the body is no longer bothered by such allergic reactions, patients should continue treatment for about three years. Patients still need to use anti-allergy medication while undergoing allergy immunotherapy.
Allergic patients account for 15% of the population
The number of people affected by allergies is about 15% of the total population. Although allergy problems are common, most people have symptoms that are only somewhat uncomfortable and do not require medication, and their lives and work are largely unaffected. Some people, however, have much more severe allergies, sneezing at all times, itching more all over their bodies, and being haunted by allergies for the rest of their lives. Sometimes the sneezing is non-stop from morning to night, and after exhaustion, it is accompanied by the onslaught of headaches. The eyes also itch for no reason and you have to rub them, and then the more you rub them, the more itchy they become. The skin also itches, scratching until the skin breaks and bleeds, but still have to scratch.
Allergens are divided into two categories: inhalant and food allergens
1, inhalant allergens include: dust mites; pollen; mold spores; animal hair.
  2, food allergens.
  (1) peanuts: severe allergies, as long as a small peanut fragments, are enough to take a life.
  (2) nuts: walnuts, almonds, Brazil nuts and cashews, are the types of food that can cause severe allergies.
  (3) Seafood: shrimp, crab and lobster, as well as tamari, mussels and octopus.
  (4) Fish: Some people are allergic to freshly cooked fish, but have no adverse reactions to the same type of fish when canned.
  (5) Milk: The vast majority of people are allergic to milk, which is only of an intolerable nature. Those who are truly allergic to milk may have a dangerous allergic reaction if they drink a little milk or swallow a little milk food.
  (6) Tofu: Many children are allergic to soybeans, and tofu is a soy product.
  (7) Wheat: Someone who has an allergy to flour foods is probably allergic to wheat.
Medications can reduce the discomfort of allergies
The basic principle of treating allergies – can’t afford to mess with them, can’t afford to avoid them!
Allergens drifting in the air can be avoided if possible, but when they cannot be avoided, medications can be used to alleviate the discomfort caused by them. Advise patients to try to make lifestyle changes to reduce exposure to allergens. This is done through blood tests to determine what the allergy is to in order to be aware of it.
Take antihistamines and also use steroid preparations. Steroid nasal sprays and steroid creams, which contain very low doses of steroids, are very effective and safe anti-inflammatory drugs that do not produce as many side effects as the steroids taken internally.
If it is a food allergy, the best way is of course to abstain from eating; some do not know exactly what food they are allergic to. Some food allergies do not react immediately and may produce allergic effects, such as skin rashes, diarrhea and abdominal pain, only after a few weeks of eating. For discomfort from food allergies, one can only treat the symptoms.
Chinese medicine has extensive experience in treating allergies with few side effects and is inexpensive, but requires evidence-based treatment.
