Dispersing Swelling and Ulcerating Firmness Tang is from “Orchid Chamber Secret Collection”, which is composed of Chai Hu, Smallpox Pollen, Gentian Grass, Cyperus rotundus, Zhi Mu, Kun Bu, Platycodon grandiflorus, Trifolium prunellum, Curcuma longa, Lian Qiao, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Paeonia lactiflora, Pueraria lobatae, Sheng Ma, Baicalin Scutellariae Radix, Seaweeds, Licorice and Rhizoma Coptis.
With the efficacy of dredging liver and clearing heat, softening firmness and dispersing knots (softening and dispersing hard lumps), Dispersing Swelling and Collapsing Firmness Tang can be used in the treatment of dampness-heat subluxation through the liver meridian (the invasion of dampness and heat into the intestinal tract, bladder, pubic region, lower limbs, etc.), phlegm-congealed and blood-stagnated gall tumors (equivalent to thyroid tumors), and scrofula (mainly refers to tuberculosis of the cervical lymph nodes).
