What’s wrong with tinnitus when I’m pregnant?

In clinical work, we often encounter women who are pregnant with tinnitus in their ears, with booming, buzzing, airplane take-off sounds, or even drumming. Couples rush to the hospital for examination, and the general ear examination are normal, what is going on? It is generally believed right two reasons, one is that the endocrine level in the body after pregnancy is higher than the pre-pregnancy level, the hormone elevation will cause the inner ear water-sodium metabolism disorder, causing tinnitus, and the other reason is that the blood volume in the pregnant woman’s body increases, leading to an increase in the range of blood pressure fluctuations in pregnant women, causing tinnitus. Therefore, young couples should not panic, as this kind of tinnitus usually does not require treatment and will disappear naturally after delivery.
