Gastric lymphoma is a malignant tumour and there is no such thing as benign gastric lymphoma. However, gastric lymphoma is sensitive to radiotherapy, and early treatment with anti-H. pylori, or undergoing surgical radiotherapy, can be very effective. Gastric lymphoma has a better outcome after treatment compared to other types of malignancies such as lung cancer and pancreatic head cancer.
