The nomenclature of hemorrhoids is a mass formed due to pathological hypertrophy of the anal cushion downward and stagnation of the subcutaneous blood flow in the anal canal, which in layman’s terms is a fleshy growth at the anal opening. The main symptom is blood in the stool, which is bright red, mostly in dripping form, or in severe cases, in jets or lines. The blood and stool do not mix together, i.e. the color and texture of the stool is normal, and the blood often drips out only after the stool is expelled. Another symptom is prolapsed hemorrhoids, which means that a lump or lump of flesh will prolapse during a bowel movement and can initially retract on its own, but in severe cases it may need to be pushed back in by hand. Another symptom of hemorrhoids is the itchy discomfort around the anus, which is due to the inflammation of this hemorrhoid, and the inflammatory medium irritates the skin around the anus, thus producing some uncomfortable symptoms.
