Can you feel hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoids are a more general concept and can be divided into external hemorrhoids, internal hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoids are not enlarged to a certain extent and are located in the rectum, so the patient himself cannot feel them, but when they come out of the anus, the patient can feel the soft mucous membrane, which is attached to the surface of the rectal mucosa. The external hemorrhoids usually grow at the anal edge and can be felt by the patient himself, for example, if you feel it like an extra piece of skin, it is called connective tissue external hemorrhoids. There are also external hemorrhoids that become enlarged when the patient squats or defecates, hemispherical and soft, and then shrink after defecating or standing up, which are varicose veins. Inflammatory external hemorrhoids and thrombosed external hemorrhoids are associated with more obvious swelling and pain, and the patient can feel a hard mass around the anus that is obvious to touch. The patient can feel the hard mass around the anal verge.
