How to deal with fever in children?

Fever is a common clinical manifestation, the specific causes need to be analyzed, such as pneumonia caused by fever, encephalitis caused by fever, etc. Some parents ask, pneumonia is not a fever burn, that is because parents do not understand who is the cause and who is the result of the reason. Pneumonia, encephalitis and other types of inflammation is the cause, fever is the effect, fever is only a clinical manifestation. Then how to deal with fever? First of all, we need to know that the normal human body temperature is below 37 degrees, and in children it is below 37.4 degrees, but of course there are fluctuations, such as exercise, after meals, etc. If a child’s body temperature is over 38 degrees, it is definitely a fever. If the fever lasts for less than 5 days and the child’s mental response is good in all aspects, there is no need to worry, just give physical cooling and observe closely. A body temperature not exceeding 39 degrees is protective for the body and can inhibit the reproduction of germs. If the fever is accompanied by convulsions, or if the child is too young, less than 3 months, be careful and take him to the hospital in time.
