Lichen planus is a skin condition caused by infection with the human papillomavirus and manifests as papules on the skin, flat and smooth with distinct borders. The lesions cannot be extruded as granules.
Steatosis is a retained cyst originating from the epidermis or epithelial appendages, yellowish-white in colour, 1 to 2 mm in diameter and covered with a very thin epidermis. Firm, spherical particles can be squeezed out.
