What medications are often taken to treat conduction block

Commonly used drugs for heart block include atropine, salbutamol, isoprenaline, and aminophylline. Heart block can be categorized into atrioventricular block, intra-atrial block and intraventricular block, which generally refers to atrioventricular block. 1. Atrioventricular block refers to the delayed conduction of impulses from the atria to the ventricles, the partial inability to conduct to the ventricles, or even the inability to conduct completely to the ventricles after the impulses from the atria have been removed from the physiologic period of inactivity in the atrioventricular junction area. Treatment is mainly to increase the ventricular rate, and commonly used drugs include atropine, salbutamol, isoprenaline, aminophylline and so on. Atropine is suitable for patients whose block site is located in the AV node, and isoprenaline is suitable for any site of AV block. 2. There is no special drug therapy for intra-atrial and intraventricular block. Patients should go to the hospital when symptoms become obvious.
