Classification of vertigo

Dizziness can be clinically classified into five major types: 1. Hyperactivity of liver yang, which is typically associated with dizziness with tinnitus, redness of the face and eyes, bitterness of the mouth, irritability and other clinical manifestations, and is often related to emotional factors. 2. Phlegm-dampness obstruction, which is usually found in obese people with phlegm-dampness constitution, manifesting as dizziness, heavy head, nausea, vomiting, phlegm and other clinical manifestations. 3. Blood stasis obstruction. It is often accompanied by headache and fixed pain, insomnia, palpitations, purple lips and other clinical manifestations. 4. Deficiency of qi and blood, vertigo is related to activity and exertion, accompanied by white face, fatigue, laziness and lazy speech. 5. Kidney essence deficiency, vertigo has a long duration, with mental depression, weakness of the waist and knees, little sleep and dreaminess, forgetfulness and other clinical manifestations.
