Peritoneal irritation signs are the main signs that appear after abdominal organ lesions, including abdominal pressure pain, rebound pain and abdominal muscle tension, which can occur separately or simultaneously. Patients often present with abdominal pain, profuse sweating, fever, general weakness, incoherence, and even shock. Each patient exhibits different local clinical symptoms, but abdominal pressure pain is the most common and important sign. The most common signs of peritoneal irritation are abdominal organ diseases, including inflammation, injury, cavernous organ spasm, tumor, organ perforation or rupture, and organ blood circulation disorders. Sometimes it can also be caused by organ disease outside the abdomen. In case of peritoneal irritation, it is recommended to seek medical attention promptly and perform laboratory, X-ray, and abdominal puncture examinations, and if necessary, B-ultrasound and CT examinations.
