Viagra, or sildenafil citrate tablets, should generally not be taken at the same time as nitric oxide donor drugs and guanylate cyclase agonists in any dosage form.
Sildenafil citrate tablets are commonly used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. It should be noted that it is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to the product. Adverse drug reactions such as nasal congestion, hot flashes, rash, abnormal vision, back pain, myalgia, headache, dyspepsia, dizziness and nausea may occur during treatment.
The drug can enhance the antihypertensive effect of nitrate, so it is prohibited to combine with any dosage form of nitric oxide donors (such as nitrates or nitrites); the drug is prohibited to use with guanylate cyclase agonists (such as leucovorin), because the concomitant use of the drug may cause symptomatic hypotension.
Specific use of the drug should be under the guidance of a specialist, not unauthorized use of the drug.
