1. Drug therapy: Anti-epileptic drugs such as carbamazepine are preferred. There is usually a significant effect in the early stages. Patients in the later stages often need to increase the dose of drugs or increase the dose still cannot be controlled. 2. Trigeminal nerve microvascular decompression: The symptoms are relieved by surgically eliminating the compression of the trigeminal nerve by blood vessels. The advantage is that facial sensation can be preserved. The disadvantage is that patients who are too old to tolerate open surgery or have concerns about surgery are not suitable. 3. Treatment of the trigeminal hemianopia with percutaneous puncture needles, such as percutaneous puncture balloon compression, is completed by percutaneous puncture under general anesthesia. The advantages are less pain, less trauma, simpler operation, shorter hospital stay, and especially suitable for patients with poor physical condition. The disadvantage is the postoperative discomfort such as loss of sensation on the affected side.
