What should I do before treating oral mucosal leukoplakia?

Treatment 1.Most mucous membrane white spots do not need treatment. 2.Remove local irritants, such as improving oral hygiene, prohibiting smoking, treating diseased teeth, and limiting spicy and irritating food. After stopping smoking, most of the smoking-related mucosal leukoplakia will subside. 3.Treat the accompanying systemic diseases. Vitamin A can be given, 50,000 units per day, intramuscular injection, or vitamin B12 injection. 4.Local treatment Erosion with pure silver nitrate or chromic acid, or laser excision. However, it must go deep into the mucosa, especially the white spot of tongue mucosa, which should be removed as early as possible. 5.Examine at least once a year until the lesions subside. If the mucosal leukoplakia epithelial dysplasia or lesions do not fade, surgical excision can be considered. 6.Large area white spots can be excised after free skin slice transplantation to cover the trauma, or frozen laser treatment. Chinese medicine treatment: the method is to clear the heat and detoxify the toxins, activate blood circulation and remove blood stasis. The formula is based on the combination of detoxification and heat clearing soup and blood circulation and blood stasis dispersal soup. Prognosis Recent studies have shown that 4%-6% of mucosal leukoplakia is transformed into malignant tumor.
