Chest tightness after exercise

Patients who experience chest tightness after exercise are considered to be triggered by the presence of angina pectoris. Patients are advised to sit down near the onset of discomfort and remain as still as possible, which will help to reduce the symptoms of chest tightness. In addition, it is recommended that the patient take sublingual heart pills or compound salvia drops to help further end the pain. If the discomfort does not improve after taking the medication, the patient should call 120 and go to the emergency department for an electrocardiogram and myocardial enzymology to help further clarify whether an acute myocardial infarction has occurred. If an acute infarction is considered, it is recommended that the patient undergo coronary angiography directly. For patients with severe stenosis, coronary intervention can be combined.
