As a parent, it is important to go to a regular hospital with a doctor who has some experience when you find a problem with your child’s hearing to avoid delaying the condition. Idiopathic sudden deafness in children is often a symptom, and the real cause is a developmental malformation, such as large vestibular aqueduct syndrome.
