Modern Surgical Treatment of Heart Failure
In recent years, great progress has also been made in the fields of stem cell transplantation (transcoronary or subepicardial), gene therapy, heart transplantation, and dual electrode pacing, but due to our national conditions, economic situation, and lack of awareness, the use of mechanical circulatory assistance and artificial heart is more difficult to promote, and there is still a large gap between China and developed countries. The purpose of this book is to review and introduce these non-pharmacological treatments for heart failure and to actively recommend their promotion in order to save more patients with heart failure and prolong their lives. Based on the existing surgical procedures, we will expand the treatment field and develop new medical devices and equipment and new treatment methods to contribute to saving more critically ill patients. It is believed that with the deepening of China’s reform and opening up, the improvement of economic capacity and the improvement of people’s living standard, these non-pharmacological methods and techniques for heart failure will be further promoted in China and the gap with foreign countries will be narrowed, making a greater contribution to the medical and health care of China.
