The treatment of infectious diarrhea includes general treatment, symptomatic supportive treatment and anti-infective treatment, as follows: 1. General treatment: rest in bed as much as possible, except for patients with severe vomiting, there is generally no need to fast, and food intake should be resumed 4h after the start of oral rehydration therapy or IV rehydration. It is advisable to eat less frequent meals, eat less greasy, easily digestible, vitamin-rich and nutrient-rich food, and increase caloric intake as much as possible. 2. Symptomatic supportive treatment: If vomiting persists or dehydration is obvious, intravenous supplementation of 5%-10% glucose saline and other related electrolytes is required. If necessary, antidiarrheal and antispasmodic drugs can be given to those with severe diarrhea, such as antispasmodic belladonna tablets 3 times a day and antidiarrheal drug Simethicone 2-3 times a day. 3. Before treatment, stool bacterial culture and drug sensitivity test should be performed first, without the results of the empirical antibacterial treatment. Generally, quinolones are the first choice of antimicrobial drugs, and compound sulfamethoxazole is the secondary drug treatment.
