Hip Surface Replacement Technology

Hip surface replacement technology is the latest technology that has been gradually developed and perfected internationally in recent years. It only grinds away the articular surface of the femoral head and the necrotic part, and replaces the articular surface, thus preserving the neck of the femoral head itself, which has the advantages of more natural stress transmission, less thickness and more stability, and more consistent with the human anatomical form. This allows younger, more energetic patients to regain a high level of function and stability while preserving as much of their own bone as possible, preserving more bone volume and better stability conditions for secondary revisions. The hip surface replacement system has common features: 1. The joint interface is made of high-carbon cobalt-chromium alloy; 2. The acetabular prosthesis is not cemented; 3. The femoral side prosthesis is cemented.
