How old is the best time to get rid of moles on children’s faces?

The best time to get rid of a mole on a child’s face is mainly based on the type and nature of the mole, and cannot be generalized. If the mole on a child’s face is a benign pigmented mole, which is normal black and small in diameter, it is usually due to abnormal secretion of melanin under the skin and usually does not require treatment. If the mole is larger and needs to be surgically removed, younger children are less cooperative and can wait until they are 8-9 years old to cooperate with the doctor for treatment. However, if a mole on a child’s face is darker in color and has a tendency to spread, it is mostly considered to be caused by hormonal disorders in the body and may be a disease of the liver, gallbladder and other organs, which has similar clinical manifestations as a mole and requires timely and targeted treatment. If a child has a mole on the face, parents are advised to bring the child to the dermatology department of a hospital in time to have the cause of the mole examined and then treated by a professional doctor.
