How to restore a single missing tooth?

There are 3 options for restoration (veneers) of missing single teeth: 1. movable bridge: there are hooks (clasps) hanging on both sides of the natural teeth. Slightly foreign body feeling, more trouble, need to be repeatedly removed and worn, cheap. 2, fixed bridge: need to grind both sides of the teeth (abutment teeth), both sides of the teeth to make crowns, connected like a bridge, the middle bridge made into the form of missing teeth. Its advantage is no foreign body feeling, no need to take off and wear, the price ranges from 2-3,000 to 7-8,000; but its biggest disadvantage is to damage the neighboring teeth on both sides, and even cause necrosis of the pulp of the neighboring teeth, secondary decay, etc. Its long-term success rate is low, and is generally not recommended. 3.Dental implant: A pure titanium root (implant) with special surface treatment is implanted in the alveolar bone of the missing tooth area, and after 2-3 months, a crown is made on the root after the osseointegration between the implant and the alveolar bone is formed. The advantage of this method is that it is comfortable and free of foreign bodies, no need to remove it, no need to destroy the natural teeth on both sides, etc. However, the disadvantage is that it is more expensive, around 15,000, and more expensive if bone grafting is required. However, because it does not require grinding both sides of the teeth and is supplemented by regular maintenance, its long-term success rate is high and it is currently a better long-term restoration method.
