Therefore, during this period, the diet is based on the principles of promoting the flow of Qi, light and laxative, and small amount of meals, with low fat, high iron, high vitamin, light and tasty, semi-liquid diet or general food rich in water and collagen fiber; the amount of food is appropriate to feel seventy to eighty percent full, and if necessary, small amount of meals; avoid eating greasy, fatty, sour and spicy and hairy food.
  Breakfast.
  Take a glass of light salt water or honey water by mouth in the morning (optional for middle-aged and elderly people) to moisten and smooth the stool and prevent constipation.

  Second, the middle period: (within 3-6 weeks)
  During this period, the local swelling has disappeared, the fracture end is more stable and can be properly moved, and the gastrointestinal function has also recovered.
  Breakfast.
1-2 eggs + one cup of milk or one cup of soy milk + half or one coarse grain cake (corn cake, noodle cake, etc.); you can also drink light beef or mutton soup without seasoning, etc.
  Lunch.
Rice noodles or steamed bread 2-4 taels + lean meat or poultry, eggs, fish and shrimp about + fresh vegetables + soy products.

  Third, the late stage: (4-11 weeks)
  This period is based on the principle of promoting the recovery of limb functions, tonifying the liver and kidney, and nourishing qi and blood. Pay attention to the following points.
  1.The elderly should appropriately restrict high-fat, high-cholesterol and high-sugar diet and limit the intake of sodium.
  2, children appropriately increase the intake of fish, meat, eggs, milk, beans and vegetables.
  3, avoid eating food too cold to prevent excessive intestinal peristalsis and gastrointestinal inflammation caused by diarrhea.
  4.Appropriate sun exposure to promote calcium and phosphorus absorption, promote calcium and phosphorus metabolism in bone, and promote fracture healing. Appropriate application of cod liver oil preparations, vitamin D tablets, fortified vitamin D, milk, cheese, etc.
