Repeated redness, itching, dryness, and sometimes a scaly rash on the skin in the folds of the elbows or knees, or on the back of the neck, arms, wrists, or ankles. 4.A class of symptoms often occurs after eating certain foods, including hives, edema, dry heaving, coughing or difficulty breathing, vomiting, or severe abdominal pain. 5. Itching or tingling sensations in the mouth, throat and/or ears at certain times of the year or after eating certain foods. Frequent episodes of allergic reactions can have a negative impact on a child’s life and affect his or her growth and development. However, allergic reactions can be prevented as long as mothers and fathers can take care to reduce their children’s exposure to allergens in their daily lives. Once a child has a severe allergic reaction it is important to seek medical attention in time to prevent more serious problems.
