Can allergic coughs heal on their own without medication?

Allergic cough is difficult to cure on its own. It is a cough caused by an allergic reaction after exposure to an allergen. Allergens irritate the airways, leading to airway hyperreactivity and airway inflammation, resulting in symptoms such as cough and itchy throat. Allergic cough is a common respiratory disease with a high incidence in winter and spring. Its onset can be triggered by pollen, air pollution, harmful gases, animal hair, etc. The disease is mainly characterized by a dry cough with little phlegm, accompanied by an itchy throat, itchy nose and itchy eyes, etc. Some people may also develop itchy skin and wind clusters. If left untreated, it often persists and is a form of chronic cough. When allergic cough occurs, the first step should be to find the allergen and stay away from it to reduce its attacks. In addition, anti-allergy, anti-inflammatory and cough suppressant treatments are needed to relieve the condition and alleviate the patient’s pain. Patients should pay attention to regular work and rest, a comprehensive diet, and standardized treatment.
