Treatment for Tinea Pedis

Tinea pedis is divided into blistering, scaling, impregnating, and hyperkeratotic foot fungus, and the appropriate treatment should be used in conjunction with the patient’s condition. The treatments for tinea pedis include: 1) blistering and scaling tinea pedis: patients can be treated with less irritating medications such as miconazole, terbinafine ointment and amorolfine cream; 2) impregnating and erosive tinea pedis: patients can be treated with saline or boric acid solution as a wet compress followed by antifungal ointment; 3) hyperkeratotic tinea pedis: patients can be treated with antifungal ointment and encapsulation therapy. Itchoconazole and terbinafine can also be administered orally for treatment. The specific medication should be combined with the clinical situation and should be guided by the doctor.
