Ringworm of the feet, i.e. tinea pedis, is caused by fungal infection, tinea pedis does not exist the fastest and most effective treatment, patients can be standardized through general treatment, local and systemic medication and other treatments.
1. General treatment: attention should be paid to personal hygiene in daily life to keep the feet dry; foot basin and towel should be used separately to avoid infecting others; it is not suitable to wear sports shoes, traveling shoes and other non-breathable shoes in order to avoid excessive sweating of feet and aggravation of foot odor.
2. Medication:
(1) local drugs: small blisters on the feet, unbroken can first be soaked with 3% boric acid solution, and then choose bifonazole cream and other antifungal creams; keratinization of serious people can first use 10% salicylic acid ointment or compound benzoic acid ointment to make the keratin soften, and then use antifungal drugs such as terbinafine hydrochloride cream; combined with bacterial infection can be combined with furacillin solution wet compresses.
(2) Systemic drugs: mainly applicable to the more serious condition, recurrent episodes and so on. Commonly used antifungal drugs include terbinafine, itraconazole, fluconazole and so on. The medication should follow the doctor’s instructions.
Tinea pedis patients should actively seek medical advice and follow the doctor’s instructions for diagnosis and treatment. The use of specific drugs should be under the guidance of a doctor.
