Why do I have a sensation of anal dysgeusia after a colonoscopy?

If no anorectal lesions are seen during the colonoscopy, the sensation will gradually disappear and can be relieved by taking a sitz bath, practising anal lifting movements and keeping the area clean and hygienic.
